About Christian FM

Christian FM (WSCF) signed on the airon February 1, 1990 as the first full-time contemporary Christian station on the Atlantic coast of Florida. Since then we have grown to six broadcast frequencies along Florida's east coast, and a large online community of listeners around the world.

We are a not-for-profit ministry (Central Educational Broadcasting, Inc.) and operate under the supervision of an independent Board of Directors.

Our vision is to use technology and mass communications to effectively communicate the heart and Gospel of Jesus Christ, and draw people closer to Him. We endeavor to be a servant in the communities where we have broadcast licenses, and to use the tools God gives us to His glory.

Christian FM is also the founder of the separately operated Christian FM Networks, which distributes Christian music and inspirational personalities to scores of independent radio stations from coast to coast.

FAQ

Each year we set aside a week called “Care-a-thon” to receive faith promises of support from our listeners. During this time, much of our annual operating budget is pledged. Care-a-thon is critical to our continued operations.   The remainder of our budget is raised throughout the year through contributions from area businesses, churches and civic-minded organizations.

Where does my monthly gift go?

Your monthly gift is used to pay for the many expenses of operating Christian FM. Salaries, electricity, studio and transmitter maintenance, office supplies, postage, legal and insurance fees, engineering expenses, telephones and much more.

Where do annual or “one-time” gifts go?

These gifts are generally used to purchase equipment, technology, computers and other broadcasting items needed to keep Christian FM up-to-date in the ever-changing world of broadcasting.

What is a “faith promise”?

When you make a pledge of support to Christian FM, we regard it as a faith promise.   Just ask God what you should give and then make your pledge. We do not send you a bill. We simply believe God to use you during the year ahead as a supporting partner.

What happens when after I call in my faith promise, or make an online pledge?

Within just a few days, you will receive a note from the station, thanking you for the pledge, and a return envelope in which to send your first gift, when you are able. After that, you will receive periodic email updates and letters about the ministry. In our letters we always include a return envelope for your convenience. If you choose to give online, you can select to have your gift given automatically at your direction. 

Does Christian FM accept credit cards or online donations?

 Online we can accept donations with any major credit card. You may also give by bank transfer or through Paypal.  (INSERT A LINK)
